I figure it is random, probably computer generated, assignment and that makes sense to me.

Comment on Just a Short PSA

Verdict on the Guinness cupcakes: Delicious, as expected. And flavors for tomorrow include sweet potato and peanut butter. What drives us nuts is that they can apparently assign you to ANY court and you just have to figure out how to get there. One of the reasons we live in Hartford is that he does not drive at all, and I have driving period, and we don't need to very often at all because of where we live. Why not keep the Hartford residents at the Hartford courts? Why send us to New Britain and Manchester?

Comment on Why can't every day be Cupcake Truck day?

Wow! That's a big line for little old cupcakes. I'm surprised that with demand so high, the Cupcake Truck hasn't opened a Hartford 'branch'. Surely they could leak their recipes just a little bit … I'll volunteer to keep them secret, I promise ;-)

Comment on Just Another Weekend in Hartford

I second EmGee's suggestion of an April Fools' Meet-Up. Kerri, I'd be there, but I have a bar association event and then a ticket to the CT Forum tonight. Yet again, nothing to do in Hartford... Maybe at next month's First Thursday? An April Fool's Day meet-up?

Comment on Just Another Weekend in Hartford

Great idea!

If anything, I find there is sometimes a bit too much going on and that it's hard to decide what to do.

Anyone up for the First Thursday at the Wadsworth tomorrow night, followed by karaoke at Arch Street Tavern?

Comment on Just Another Weekend in Hartford

yes, community dinners where we can meet each other

Comment on Just Another Weekend in Hartford

Don't forget the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, which performs at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.

Beethoven Violin Concerto & Dvořák New World Symphony
March 18 - 21, 2010

"This is music that captures the energy, the exuberance, the promise of a great nation. The Hartford Symphony, under Tania Miller, performs one of the most beloved works in the repertoire – Dvořák’s love letter to America – the spirited “New World” Symphony.
