My partner has been called repeatedly over the past few years, but is always on the excused list when he calls the night before. What drives us nuts is that they can apparently assign you to ANY court and you just have to figure out how to get there. One of the reasons we live in Hartford is that he does not drive at all, and I have driving period, and we don't need to very often at all because of where we live. Why not keep the Hartford residents at the Hartford courts? Why send us to New Britain and Manchester?

Wow! That's a big line for little old cupcakes. I'm surprised that with demand so high, the Cupcake Truck hasn't opened a Hartford 'branch'. Surely they could leak their recipes just a little bit … I'll volunteer to keep them secret, I promise ;-)

Another meet-up is a great idea. Kerri, I'd be there, but I have a bar association event and then a ticket to the CT Forum tonight. Yet again, nothing to do in Hartford... Maybe at next month's First Thursday? An April Fool's Day meet-up?

If anything, I find there is sometimes a bit too much going on and that it's hard to decide what to do.
